Craftyn was a popular multiplayer  Minecraft community which ran on a plugin called Towny. This plugin allowed players to create towns, jobs, roles, and mini games within their towns.
The Problem: The original logo, below, was made by the owner of the multiplayer server. It was created using original Minecraft blocks to look like a shield. It was effective for quite a while, but there was a goal of opening a new server with a new custom world to explore and so a new logo was in order to distinguish itself from the original community.
The Solution: After lots of sketches and different shield shapes and ideas, the most simplest idea came to mind. If you stack two Minecraft blocks, from the right angle, they make a shield shape all on their own. This shape along with it's new font "Corki", is regal, modern, sharp, inherently invoked Minecraft.
Below are some variations on the logo that could be used for special events or different categories of user groups within the community. The full color palette includes purple and red which are also regal colors. "Corki" is the main font for the logo and headers, while Acumin is a nice accent for subheadings and paragraph text.
