Norton was created for Woodlynde School's Assessment Center and Social-Emotional Learning program. The school psychologist and counselors can use these little characters as a mascot as well as to help kids manage or learn about their emotions.
Norton is a personification of a neuron. His body is the nucleus, and his expressive tail is the axon with the little ball at the end being the axon terminal. Here he is shown with the expressions of happiness, disgust, sadness, anger, fear, and surprise.
